Finding Your Single Lawyer

When it comes to dating and the dating scene, many of us take different paths to finding our Mister Right. For me, my Mr. Right turned out to be Rick, a single lawyer. I met Rick during a class on litigation for my elective. I was in college and wanted to go into law. He gave a presentation to our class and I couldn't keep my eyes off of him. He was totally gorgeous. One of my classmates beat me to the punch when she asked him if he was single. God talk about embarrassing! He answered that he was and many girls started hitting on him. I didn't get into that particular feeding frenzy. He is a guy not a piece of candy I remember thinking. After class, I got a phone call from Diane inviting me to a private party. I started to decline but she insisted. She introduced me to him as soon as I arrived. We got to talking and discovered that we had a lot in common. I was glad to meet him under different circumstances. Rick really impressed me with his knowledge and his spirit. Single lawyers are a special breed.

Single lawyers are different as we all are. To my surprise I got a phone call several days later asking me out. I was a bit hesitant after the feeding frenzy that went on. I finally accepted his invitation. It turns out that he is a wonderful companion. We enjoyed a night on the town and he called the next day. He really is a thoughtful guy and while he has faults, he more than makes up for it. Case in point, I got a dozen red roses just because! I was floored to say the least.

If Rick is any example of single lawyers, I am surprised that more people don't think about dating a lawyer. He became a fast friend then something more. I am so very happy with Rick. I never thought that this would be the way that things turned out. I have found who I am looking for and I never thought I would find someone.
